Dancing on \”The Fiddler\” at The Rooms – summer 2010

These three soundscapes were created for the initial part of the Shorelines 2009-2010 art project. The sounds were recorded on the Port Au Port Peninsula in the communities of Mainland, Boutte du Cap, Agathuna, Notre Dame Du Cap, Petit Jardin, Red Island and Sheaves Cove.
All three soundscapes explore the idea that the francophone culture is a ghost culture within the larger angolphone culture of Newfoundland and Labrador.
